Our Origin

NDAWA was founded out of a deep desire to reach and uplift women and youth in Ndokwa society. Driven by the brilliant vision of late Chief Mrs. Philomena Ngozi Egwuenu, a call was sent out in 1999 to like-minded women of Ndokwa origin to join a cause greater than themselves.

This founding circle of committed women envisioned an association that would not only provide support but also become a platform for self-improvement, leadership, education, and healthcare.

Our Core Objectives

  • Promote the education of girls and boys in Ndokwa at all levels

  • Stimulate public interest in women’s and children’s affairs, with a focus on Ndokwa

  • Engage in the economic development and social welfare of the Ndokwa people

  • Cooperate with other organizations that share our goals and values

  • Uplift women and youth, especially the girl-child, through education, healthcare, and empowerment

Our Growth & Global Presence

From a small group of passionate pioneers, NDAWA has grown to establish branches both within Nigeria and internationally, catering to a diverse and vibrant community of members across the world.
We are committed to growing stronger while maintaining excellence, integrity, and deep community engagement.
